Rachel Gross is a Washington, DC-based science writer whose work has appeared in The New York Times, The Atlantic, National Geographic, Slate, New Scientist, and NPR. She is currently an editorial assistant at Slate, and the social chair of the DC Science Writers Association. In her free time she enjoys poetry, sci-fi films, and vegan baking.
