Cusimano Love is a tenured Associate Professor of International Relations at The Catholic University of America. She serves on: the U.S. Catholic Bishops' International Justice and Peace Committee, the Advisory Board of the Catholic Peacebuilding Network, and the Core Group for the Department of State's working group on Religion and Foreign Policy. She also served as a fellow at the Commission on International Religious Freedom, on the board of Jesuit Refugee Services, and as a consultant to Catholic Relief Services, among others. Some of her recent international relations books include “Morality Matters: Ethics and the War on Terrorism” (forthcoming), and "Women, Religion, and Peace" a chapter from “Exploring the Invisible” (2015). She is currently researching assessments of Pope Francis' peace plan, the Catholic Church's move away from nuclear deterrence toward deeper nuclear disarmament, and the connections between environmental protection and peace.
