Mary Elena Azzoli Griffith is MIPO’s Director of Media Initiatives and Polling News.  Mary received her BA in Communication and Media Studies from Fordham University.  She is a former producer at WNBC-TV where she worked on such shows as “Weekend Today in New York,” “News4You,” and “TrendBreakers.”  Mary’s contributions to WNBC earned her three New York Emmy Award nominations.  She currently oversees MIPO’s multimedia platforms, including the Institute’s press outreach, broadcast operations, video production, website, and social media endeavors.  She also co-teaches a course in political communications with MIPO’s director, Dr. Lee M. Miringoff.  A native to New York City, Mary currently resides in Queens, New York with her husband and two sons.
