Ivereigh is a British writer, journalist and commentator on religious and political affairs who regularly appears on TV and radio. Most recently, he is the author of a highly praised biography of Pope Francis, “The Great Reformer: Francis and the Making of a Radical Pope” (2014). In 2010, he co-founded Catholic Voices, a project to train ordinary people to put the case for the Church on contentious issues in the media, which has spread to 15 countries. His book “How to Defend the Faith Without Raising Your Voice: Civil Responses to Catholic Hot-button Issues” (Our Sunday Visitor, 2012) has sold over 20,000 copies worldwide, and been translated into a number of languages. Ivereigh divides his time between Catholic Voices and his writing, journalism and broadcast work. He reports regularly for Our Sunday Visitor in the U.S., and writes often for a large range of newspapers and magazines. He recently received the St. Francis de Sales award, the highest honor given by the Catholic press.
